MyGugol aims to provide a simple way to find information in all your files, regardless of the location where the data is stored, including:

In addition, MyGugol collects a large amount of metadata (file attributes) from each file, so you can use all these file attributes to filter your search request.

    For instance, you can limit your search to:

  • Word documentsWord documents written by Peter, with 4 to 9 pages, and modified in a specific date/time range.
  • PhotographsPhotographs taken with a Focal Length of 80/10, and taken in a specific region of the USA (selected on the map).
  • Audio filesAudio files with a Sampling Rate of 44K and Codec MPEG Audio.
  • Video filesVideo files with Blu-ray Video format, 30K Frame Rate, and with a file size between 1GB and 4GB.
Find photographs taken in a specific region (selected on the map).
You can use the file attributes to filter your search request.

Worried about the security of your data on our servers ?

    Here are our security promises to you:

  • The MyGugol Agent won’t upload any of your files to our servers. It only extracts and uploads text found in your files in order to create the indexes required to provide the search service, and to show you a preview of the files.
  • If the “Capture image thumbnails” option is enabled, the agent will upload a reduced version of the image files.
  • We protect your data stored on our servers as we do our own data, by using the most advanced security methods.
  • MyGugol will not give or sell any data obtained from your files to any other company, or use it for any purpose.
  • All data is encoded on our servers.
  • The security of your data is our priority.

How does it work?

Three Simple steps are enough to get started with MyGugol. All you need to do is the following:

The first step is to create an account on MyGugol.com. This is quick and easy. Click the "Create Account" button to create an account.

Next, install the MyGugol agent on your devices and add your cloud accounts (Gmail at present) so that MyGugol can index all your data.

The process of indexing all the data on each of your devices and on your cloud accounts can take several hours or days, depending on the amount of data you have. However, you don't need to wait until all the data has been indexed. Usually you can start searching within a few hours. Keep in mind that only once all the data has been indexed can MyGugol find all your information.

The MyGugol agent installed on each of your devices will continue working forever, indexing new and modified files on each of the devices and Cloud accounts associated with your MyGugol account.

Once all your data has been indexed by MyGugol, you can sign in and use MyGugol to search for information in all your files, just as you use Google to search for information on the Internet.

MyGugol will find information inside your documents, compressed files, Outlook email stores, and even inside virtual machines.
